The day my now husband got down on one knee changed my life. After the first “omg how did he do it” “omg your ring” the next comment was always “so the wedding…”. The latter didn’t really hit me till a few weeks later when I sat down with a notebook. My list began, V̶e̶n̶u̶e̶, o̶u̶t̶f̶i̶t̶ MAKEUP AND HAIR ARTISTS, Outfit, Venue… And so began the stress of finding the glam squad. 
When you want to search for anything you Google, it is a natural reaction. Have you searched “Asian makeup artist”, it is not helpful! So I opened up the gram and stopped. What do I search, who do I search?? I didn’t really know any artists. I spent many (exasperated) hours stalking pages. The biggest issue with social media is that it is FILTERS GALORE. Brides have pores, brides have shine, brides have textured skin! I was not getting a truthful view of an artists work. I remember thinking I wish I had a single point where I could search for hair AND makeup AND by location AND filter by my budget AND see honest reviews from previous clients. All the women around me experienced the same struggle. For the brides, the sisters, the mothers, the aunties, the friends this site is a tool to remove the stress of finding an artist and to just simply focus on getting glammed up! Brides-planning your wedding can be emotional, stressful, nerve wracking, daunting but it can be fun, exciting, present opportunities to be creative and most importantly to create life long memories.
